A/V equipment provider B&H now available in Mountaineer Marketplace

B&H Photo, Video & Pro Audio is now a preferred catalog vendor of audio/visual equipment in Mountaineer Marketplace, the purchasing system that replaced WVUBuy over the summer. B&H also offers pre-sale technical support, additional discounts on large orders, extensive product catalog and sophisticated order tracking.

Procurement Contracting and Payment Services expects to soon add catalogs for Apple, McMaster Carr and Amazon. The team is also working with faculty to expand the base of catalogs to support the purchase of lab supplies and equipment.

“Our ability to expand the product offerings through these type of catalogs is key to the overall success of the program,” said Assistant Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer David Beaver. “In less than one month of operation, more orders have gone through Mountaineer Marketplace than in the prior 12 months of WVUBuy.”

Hands-on assistance placing orders will be offered at an open house 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 26 in room 219 of Armstrong Hall. PCPS staff will help walk users through the new tool, so participants should bring actual orders.
