Mountaineer Marketplace off to strong start, but feedback is welcome and needed
In the first two days of full operation, Mountaineer Marketplace got 297 requisition requests, six more than the old WVUBuy system had in the month of June. Procurement Contracting and Payment Services also has received valuable feedback and encourages users to continue constructive suggestions.
Users have identified a few pricing discrepancies among the thousands of items in Mountaineer Marketplace catalogs, and PCPS is working with vendors to correct those. To share additional comments about pricing, the purchasing process or WVU’s procurement policies, please contact email@example.com.
Access to Mountaineer Marketplace is in the same place as WVUBuy: Just visit myaccess.wvu.edu and log in with your WVU Login credentials.
Although more than 1,000 people attended demonstrations or training in the new system, PCPS will be scheduling open houses to assist users with placing their first orders. Watch for additional eNews items in the days and weeks ahead. Training materials are also posted here.
