Lowe’s is one of four new preferred vendors in Mountaineer Marketplace
Lowe’s is one of four new preferred catalog vendors in Mountaineer Marketplace, offering favorable pricing and discounts for WVU employees.
“This has always been a very popular vendor, and having them added as a catalog vendor with the ability for delivery or in-store pickup is a nice win for the University,” said David Beaver, Assistant Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer.
Catalogs are also now available for Digi-Key Electronics (electronic and board level components), Kurt J. Lesker (vacuum products and systems) and Matheson Tri Gas (laboratory and industrial gases and handling equipment).
Since Mountaineer Marketplace launched in July 2016, Procurement Contracting and Payment Services has processed more than 44,000 orders totaling $198 million in spending. Use of the system that replaced WVUBuy has been better than expected, Beaver said, and PCPS continues to consider constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
