WVU has partnered with Care.com, a national organization of caregivers, to bring eligible employees and members of the WVU Retirees Association Care@Work membership at no cost. Dependent Education Scholarship
To help even more members of the West Virginia University family realize the benefits of a WVU education, the University is excited to announce the Dependent Education Scholarship, beginning in the fall 2018 semester.
Out-of-state undergraduate dependent children under age 26 may be eligible for up to the difference in in-state and out-of-state university tuition for a maximum of four years.
In-state undergraduate dependent children under age 26 may be eligible for up to $1,650 per academic year ($825 per semester) for a maximum of four years and with a maximum lifetime benefit of $6,600.
Housing Down Payment Program
West Virginia University has teamed up with the Fairmont-Morgantown Housing Authority (FMHA) to offer an employee down payment assistance program to its faculty and staff wishing to purchase a home in targeted Morgantown neighborhoods.
Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at WVU
This membership organization is open to anyone age 50 or older regardless of educational background. The goal is to provide intellectually stimulating classes and discussions with peers along with opportunities for social and recreational activities, such as field trips to environmental and historic sites and for appreciation and study of the arts.
Undergraduate Tuition Assistance and Graduate Tuition Waivers

WVU Arts & Entertainment provides employees, students and the community with the annual WVU FallFest, Arts Series, concerts, and family friendly entertainment.
WVU Community Music Program
The WVU Community Music Program provides a comprehensive program of musical training for the amateur performer, enlightened listener, and professional musician. Programs are offered for all ages. Discounts may be available to employees and students and will be listed on the respective registration form.
WVU Student Family Resources
Designed to support WVU's student parents, Student Family Resources offers information about programs and services that are available for students and their families. This includes childcare financial assistance, scholarships, summer camps and programs, etc.
This work/play craft studio is located in the Braxton Tower basement of the Evansdale Residential Complex. It is open during the fall and spring semesters.
Membership is open to all employees of WVU and affiliated organizations (listed on Credit Union web site). Employees’ relatives can also be members. Faculty and Staff Assistance Program
The FSAP is a confidential problem-solving resource for faculty and staff and their family members. This program provides professional staff who offer a safe place to sort through problems and determine the best resources available. Discounted season tickets are offered to all benefit-eligible WVU employees for football, and men’s and women’s basketball events. Benefit-eligible employees will receive a 20% discount on regularly priced season tickets and a 50% discount on annual seat donations (if applicable).
