How to Complete Your Refresher Cardholder Training

All WVU and WVURC cardholders are required to complete “refresher training” every two years, to avoid having their PCards’ canceled. To complete your training, please use the following instructions:

WVU and WVU Research Corporation Cardholders:

  1. The WV State Auditor's Office will send you email notifications of your upcoming training deadline 90, 60 and 30 days prior to your training due date.
  2. Log onto the State Auditor’s Office’s website at http://www.wvsao.gov/ using your My Apps ID and Password.
    • If you have not created a MyApps account, please email PCardAdministration@mail.wvu.edu.
    • If you do not remember your password, click on reset password.
    • If you have any trouble logging into your account, please call the MyApps help desk at (304) 340-4850 or Toll Free (877) 982-9148, Mon-Fri (8am to 4pm)
  3. Click on My Apps.
  4. Click on the purple box titled P-Card Training.
  5. Click on Training Materials.
  6. Review the following training materials
    • State Auditor’s Office Purchasing Card Policies and Procedures Manual
    • WVU PCARD Program Training Manual
    • WVU PCARD Program Training
  7. Complete the quiz for WVU Cardholder Training and the quiz for Ethics Training.
  8. Complete the Electronic Cardholder Agreement. Please make sure your pop up blocker is turned off.
  9. Once you have successfully passed both quizzes and signed the cardholder agreement, you will receive a completion certificate for each quiz.
