New Mileage Rate for 2019

New year, new mileage rate! As of 1/01/2019, the WVU/WVURC standard rate will be .58. MyExpenses will automatically be set to calculate the new rate for any travel dates after January 1st. However, if you are travelling over the transition period (any time before 1/1/19 and after), it is important to not combine your mileage in a single expense line and be sure to enter two expense lines on your report with the different transaction dates to ensure you get properly reimbursed. It is also important to make sure that the transaction date for mileage expenses is accurate.

When completing a mileage reimbursement expense line, it will still follow the current procedure and you will still select the same Mileage rate:

No additional calculations or steps will be necessary, the system will automatically apply the correct rate based off of the transaction date applied to the expense line.
