How to Correctly Identify the Different Types of Funding

Confused about whether or not the funding you are entering or approving is WVU/State funding or WVU Research Corp funding? Here is a guide to help easily identify the funding source.

• State Funding means it is being paid from the West Virginia University state bank account. These payments will be issued by the State of West Virginia after approved by Procurement, Contracting & Payment Services.
• Research Funding means it is being paid from the WVU Research Corporation bank account. These payments will be issued by Procurement, Contracting & Payment Services.
