Small Business Suppler Information

West Virginia University (WVU) maintains an extensive vendor database used for identifying and reporting expenditures to small businesses. In order to comply with federal reporting standards, we must flag suppliers who fit the definition of a small business as defined by the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR Title 13, Part 121). WVU verifies small business certifications via SAM (System for Award Management) . We suggest you register with SAM so that your classification can be easily identified and flagged in our system.

 This is an easy way to make a connection, meet and talk to many small, diverse vendors.

  WVU is constantly seeking out diverse suppliers so we can expand the number of companies participating in the public procurement process.
