The University is launching its new prepaid card program in July 2020! These cards will be MasterCard branded, reloadable credit cards that will be used for a variety of business purposes, including the following:
- Human Subject Payments
- Student athlete meal per diems and incidentals
- Prizes or rewards currently being paid by gift card
- Other business needs as determined by Procurement, Contracting & Payment Services
Guidelines for the program and a new request form will be available in Mountaineer Marketplace to request prepaid cards soon. Procurement, Contracting & Payment Services will provide more information as we get closer to the launch date. If someone from your college/department has a need for a gift card or human subject payments soon, please contact PCard Administration and we can coordinate setting up your study or program in our system.
